The journey to The Nest is all paved roads until you turn on the gravel access road leading back 1.2 miles to the cabin. It will have various inclines, common mountain road bumps and turns to reach the top of the mountain. The road is wider than most entrance roads and provides several pull off areas for other vehicles. For inexperienced mountain drivers, AWD or 4WD is recommended.
It is located in a mountain neighborhood with most of the cabins being occupied year round. It is a very private location with no one behind you but it does have a cabin across the entrance road and to your left.

Trash and Litter:
Trash pickup service is on Wednesday. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the trash cans provided and lids securely attached. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash. Also if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

The first of three bedrooms is located on the main level, offering a spacious and comfortable retreat. It features a king-size bed, a cozy seating area with chairs, and a soft area rug that adds warmth to the space. Thoughtful touches like a dresser, side tables, and lamps create a relaxed, functional layout, while a smart TV provides easy entertainment. With direct access to the hot tub just steps away, soak away the stress for the perfect night's rest!
The main level also includes a full bathroom, located just off the hallway with easy access from the living area. It features a walk-in shower and a single vanity.
Just to the right of the main-level bedroom, the laundry room is equipped with a combo washer and dryer for added convenience. It also includes thoughtful touches for four-legged guests, with dog bowls and a crate available to help keep your fur babies comfortable and happy during their stay.
The upper-level loft is a versatile retreat, thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and productivity. It features an inviting area rug, two new rocking chairs, a smart TV, and a desk with chair for those who need a quiet workspace.
A convenient Keurig coffee station is stocked with coffee pods, complemented by a mini fridge and ice machine for added comfort during your stay. Just off the loft, a small private deck awaits, furnished with a table and chairs—an ideal spot to unwind while taking in breathtaking, long-range mountain views.
The second bedroom is on the upper level with a king master suite, providing a private escape. Spacious yet cozy, it includes a comfortable seating area with chairs, a smart TV, side tables, lamps, and a soft area rug that ties the room together. A large closet provides ample storage, adding to the convenience of longer stays.
Adventure awaits on the lower level in a vibrant game room designed for fun and entertainment. Challenge friends or family at the pool table, easily convertible to ping pong for added versatility. Enjoy a touch of nostalgia with the Pac-Man arcade game, or dive into interactive play with the Wii station and Guitar Hero.
An inviting sectional sofa anchors the space, while a selection of board games adds even more entertainment options. It’s a lively, welcoming adventure with sounds of laughter and memories being made!
The third bedroom is located on the lower level, offering a spacious and flexible layout for guests. It features a king bed along with a single-over-single bunk bed, making it ideal for families or groups. The room opens directly into the game room (no door) but is a separate space from the game room area.
A convenient half bath is also located on this level!
Just outside the game room, a patio extends the fun into the fresh mountain air. A comfortable swing and chairs invite you to sit back and enjoy the surroundings, while direct access leads to a large fire pit—perfect for roasting s’mores, sharing stories, and reminiscing about the day’s adventures under the stars.
Fur babies are warmly welcomed, with up to two dogs allowed (under 50 lbs. each). To help keep the space comfortable for all guests, we kindly ask that pets remain off the furniture and beds. When outside the cabin area, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
So much to do, many adventures to be had, places to see and enjoyment for all! Soar high and nestle into your unforgettable mountain escape!
The journey to The Nest is all paved roads until you turn on the gravel access road leading back 1.2 miles to the cabin. It will have various inclines, common mountain road bumps and turns to reach the top of the mountain. The road is wider than most entrance roads and provides several pull off areas for other vehicles. For inexperienced mountain drivers, AWD or 4WD is recommended.
It is located in a mountain neighborhood with most of the cabins being occupied year round. It is a very private location with no one behind you but it does have a cabin across the entrance road and to your left.

Pets:
Dogs only - All dogs must be kept on a leash when outside. Poop bags and dog bowls are provided for your furry family members. The number of dogs is limited to two and each must be under 50 lbs. The owners respectfully request you crate your dog while away and to keep them off the beds and furniture.
Trash and Litter:
Trash pickup service is on Wednesday. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the trash cans provided and lids securely attached. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash. Also if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

Quiet time:
Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tubs, fire pits, and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen neighbors.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this cabin. It was beautiful, the mountain views were gorgeous, and we ended up spending about half of our vacation just relaxing at the cabin because we enjoyed it so much. It was clean, comfortable, and a great value for the price. Also appreciated that it is dog friendly!! One thing future guests should know is that this is managed by a property management company rather than an individual host, so there are a few extra forms and pieces of information you’ll need to complete before your stay. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s something to be aware of. Communication was excellent. The host was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful whenever we had questions. The only other tip I’d give is that an AWD or 4WD vehicle is needed. The second half of the drive up the mountain gets steep and rough, and we were very glad to have the right vehicle. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return! It was a dream stay.
